The Office of the Vice Mayor has expanded its Door-to-Door anti-Covid vaccination drive to cover more Dabawenyos who cannot go to the vaccination sites for some valid reasons.
The Door-to-Door vaccination will also cater to breastfeeding mothers, pregnant women, those who cannot leave their children alone at home and, people with other valid reasons why a person cannot go out of their house. The Vice Mayor’s Office vax drive used to cater only to persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and mobility-challenged persons.
This time also, the Vice Mayor’s Office will conduct the door-to-door vaccination per District Cluster to cover more barangays.
The first cluster will be Barangay Bucana, Barangay Maa, Barangay Magtuod, Barangay Langub, and Barangay Matina Pangi.
Interested residents or their family members in the said areas may register at their respective Barangay Hall from February 15 to February 16. After the registration, residents or their family members will be advised to wait for their final schedule.
“Para sa uban pang barangay, magpaabot lamang sa opisyal na anunsyo kung kanus-a ang registration schedule para sa inyong lugar (For other barangays, just wait for the official announcement of registraiton schedule for your area),” the announcement in the Office of the Vice Mayor read.
As of February 9, the Door-to-Door vaccination has served a total of 684 Dabawenyos. Of the number, 307 were administered for the first dose, 284 were fully vaccinated, and 93 availed of booster doses. CIO for the first dose, 284 were fully vaccinated, and 93 availed of booster doses.
