The Davao City government has already administered anti-Covid vaccines to 2,846 eligible children ages 12 to 17 years old as the city begins the pediatric vaccination drive on October 29, 2021, at the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC).
Mayor Duterte, during the Special Hours program of 87.5 Davao City Disaster Radio (DCDR) on Monday, November 8, said: "That is my opinion bakuna lang na sya because kana atong mga gina-implement kaniadto na mga lain-laing mga guidelines sa prevention and enforcement, mubaba man especially kanang duna tay ECQ o MECQ pero dili ingon ana kadako ang iyahang pagbaba o ingon ana kapaspas compared it kaniadto nga wala pay pagpabakuna (That is my opinion, it's the vaccination because even when we implemented different guidelines in prevention and enforcement, the cases would decrease especially during ECQ or MECQ but the decline of cases is not as huge and fast compared to the aftermath of the vaccination)."
A total of 29,576 public utility vehicle drivers has received anti-Covid vaccines through the Davao City government's vaccination drive in three sites opened for them at Agro Compound, Calinan, and Panacan.
As Davao City sees declining Covid-19 cases and positivity rate in recent weeks, the city government has reiterated its call to Dabawenyos to get vaccinated and continue following the wearing of face masks, physical distancing, and frequent handwashing or use of alcohol-based hand rub for health safety.

The Davao City government will boost its anti-Covid vaccination campaign by conducting a house-to-house vaccination drive to seek qualified unvaccinated individuals, especially the senior citizens who have mobility challenges to go to different jab sites.  
THE City Government of Davao through the Sangguniang Panlungsod Mobile Vaccination Program has administered anti-Covid vaccination to more inmates or Persons Deprived of Liberty at the Davao City Jail (DCJ).
The City Government of Davao, through the Vaccination Cluster of the Davao COVID-19 Task Force bared on Monday, October 18, the vaccination sites where Dabawenyos can avail of first doses via walk-ins until supplies last.
The 25 City Health Office (CHO)-managed vaccination sites, as well as the Bakuna Nights hubs, are now accepting walk-ins with Pfizer vaccines currently being served.
