The Davao City Covid-19 Task Force is fast-tracking the allocation request for more anti-Covid vaccines preferred by Dabawenyos in preparation for an intensified rollout of the booster shots in the city.
Fully immunized individuals or those who received the second dose of the anti-COVID vaccine three months ago can now avail of their booster shots in all vaccination sites in Davao City.
The Davao City Task Force COVID-19 was elated that the National Vaccination Day (NVD) Part 2 dubbed "Bayanihan Bakunahan" has inoculated a total of 32,962 individuals on December 20 and 21, 2021, breaking Davao City's daily target of 12, 658.
Davao City is the top local government unit in Davao Region with the most vaccinated individuals, recording 88 percent of the target population protection coverage for the first dose.
With barely three more weeks left in December, Davao City marked a milestone with over one million fully vaccinated individuals as of December 6, 2021.
