Dabawenyos 18 years old and above can now avail of the second anti-Covid booster shot in all of Davao City’s identified vaccination sites such as malls, Crocodile Park, and People’s Park. Individuals should bring their vaccination card to avail of the anti-Covid booster dose.
Davao City Covid-19 Task Force Vaccination Cluster Head, Dr. Josephine Villafuerte in an interview on Madayaw Dabaw Monday said that the city’s vaccination cluster now administers anti-Covid-19 second booster dose for those who have already reached three to four (3-4) months from the first booster dose. It is also administered to those who do not have comorbidities.
Villafuerte assured the public that the city has enough stock of vaccines and will administer these for as long as there are clients.
For vaccine brands, Villafuerte said that Moderna is now available for individuals who want it Moderna as a booster dose. Moderna which arrived in the city this week would be added to the stock of vaccines alongside the Pfizer brand.
As of June 3, 2022, the City Government of Davao has already inoculated a total of 16,811 individuals for the second dose, or 6.32 percent of the 265,873 who had the first booster dose.
Data also showed that 20.2 percent of the 1,316,206 fully immunized individuals had their first booster dose.
The city government continues to conduct mall-based vaccination, in parks, mobile vaccination in barangays, and in government offices to increase the number of individuals with booster doses.
