The “Door-to-Door” booster vaccination program of the Office of Vice Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte has administered anti-Covid booster doses to 13 individuals since its rollout on January 12, 2022.
Harvey Lanticse of the Office of the Vice Mayor, in an interview over the Davao City Disaster Radio on Thursday, said that the door-to-door vaccination was expanded to administer booster shots for individuals who are having difficulty going to the vaccination sites or mobile vaccination areas.
“Ang atong door to door vaccination ubos sa opisina ni Vice Mayor Baste Duterte naga-accommodate nata og booster shots against COVID-19 para sa atong kaigsoonang Dabawenyo. Kini nga lakang subay gihapon sa nagpadayon nga kompanya aron mapakusgan pa ang atong vaccination drive ug mas daghan pang Dabawenyo nga atong maprotektahan (Our door-to-door vaccination under the office of Vice Mayor Baste Duterte now accommodates booster shots against COVID-19 to all Dabawenyos. This move is in support to the continuing campaign to strengthen vaccination drive so that many more Dabawenyos will be protected),” Lanticse said.
He added that the VM’s office expects to cater to more clients for door-to-door vaccination, especially those under the priority groups.
“Ato gihapong ihatag ang priority didto sa atong mga igsoong Dabawenyo na bedridden na, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, ug kadtong dili na gyud maka-adto sa atong fixed vaccination sites ug sa atong mobile vaccination areas (We are still giving priority to Dabawenyos who are bedridden, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and those who cannot go to the fixed vaccination sites, and our mobile vaccination areas),” he added.
